Our mission is to develop life long learners who will leave our school with the tools necessary to become successful in secondary and post secondary schools; or to achieve their maximum potential in order to be prepared for any choice they make in the future and ultimately become productive citizens.

 VISION   

The vision of our school is to create life long learners, which include all students, parents, teachers, and community members. We will accomplish this vision by working collaboratively to ensure that all the state standards are met. Every staff member will be prepared with high expectations and an open mind to be able to meet all students' needs. Our staff is committed to providing an open and inviting school atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed and can make constructive suggestions to improve students achievements. The focus of Maywood Elementary will always be to put the needs of all children first and to provide a highly structure and rigorous academic program.
