VISITORS
All campus visitors must:
- Complete a visitor's permit and obtain the principal's/designee's approval before proceeding to the classroom.
- Determine the classroom activity you are observing and keep the classroom observation time and frequency reasonable.
- Follow school's established procedures for scheduling an appointment with the teacher(s) and/or principal/designee after the classroom visit needed.
- Return the visitor's permit to the school offfice before leaving campus.
Rules for visitors:
- Enter and leave the classroom as quietly as possible.
- Do not converse with students, teacher, and/or instructional aides during the visitation.
- Don not interfere with any school activity during visitation.

Our Mission
Our mission is to develop life long learners who will leave our school with the tools necessary to become successful in secondary and post secondary schools; or to achieve their maximum potential in order to be prepared for any choice they make in the future and ultimately become productive citizens.
Maywood's Vision

We will accomplish this vision by working collaboratively to ensure that all the state standards are met. Every staff member will be prepared with high expectations and an open mind to be able to meet all students' needs. Our staff is committed to providing an open and inviting school atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed and can make constructive suggestions to improve students achievements. The focus of Maywood Elementary will always be to put the needs of all chidren first and to provide a highly structure and rigorous academic program.
